Three Judges’ Choice awards were presented to: Ringling College of Art and Design for One Heart: Public Art Project; ThingkBIG for A Stitch in Time Coffee Table Book and Next-Mark, LLC for A LookBook to Showcase Architecture for Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors.

AMY Awards for Best in Category were awarded to: Marie Selby Botanical Gardens for their Orchid Ball 2020 Invitation; Studio BCC for Karins Engineering AIA Print Ads for Karins Engineering; Studio BCC for Lightspeed Tradeshow Booth for Lightspeed; On Ideas for CustomClosetMaid.com for ClosetMaid; Miles Partnership for Chattanooga’s β€œOne of Us” for Chattanooga Tourism Co.; PGT Innovations for Modern Edge All-Black Frames; Miles Partnership for their Chattanooga Tourism Co. Photography for Chattanooga Tourism Co.; On Ideas for their Thankful Tummies/Hearts Campaign for All Faiths Food Bank.

Over 130 ADDY awards were presented, including for such members and entrants as Miles Partnership, Ringling College of Art & Design, Grapevine Communications, On Ideas, Next-Mark, Studio BCC, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, ThingkBIG, PGT Innovations, MakSchu LLC and Realize Bradenton. Other members and sponsors include Accrisoft Corporation, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, Presstige Printing, Atlantis Labs, Michael Saunders & Company and Sarasota Magazine.

Top Student Awards for Ringling students included Judges’ Choice for Douglas Alberts for PLANT(T); Allyssa Ellis, Beatriz Patarata, Caio Arias and Petar Pirizovic for Fairplay; and Beatriz Patarata for Untitled Journals. The top honor of Student Best of Show went to Kevin Moody for Spotify – Face the Music video.

A $1,000 scholarship was sponsored and presented by Julia Groom and Nicole Zimmerman from DreamLarge. The scholarship was awarded to Don Donovan of State College of Florida for his application in Business Marketing.

This local competition is sponsored by AdFed Suncoast, a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals. Proceeds from the American Advertising Awards help support AdFed Suncoast’s educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts.
